questions about upgrading stock speaker system

i currently have a Lancer GTS 08, and i want to move my sound system from my Celica to this one.

i don't know much about audio systems in cars, but i do have a good system coming from older celica, that i picked up when i was working at bestbuy, and i just got a couple of guys to suggest me some parts to put in my car.

my question is, i want to replace the stock speakers with the JBL speakers i have, will i see a improvement, over stock, with just the speaker replacement?

if the stock deck isnt powerful enough to power the speakers, what can i do to improve that? im assuming i will need a amp?

i currently have a 1000watt 4xchannel amp powering my sub (this is the sub i had at the time), would i be able to hook my speakers to that, as well as my SUB?

well basically
you could do this
bridge two channels to power all your doors and bridge the other channel to power 1 sub
since u didnt say sub im going to just say u only have 1
if you have two hen theres no way to wire them all without a crappy sound
i did this with my 800 watt eclipse amp

After market speakers will alway sound better than factory speakers. Even though you got a well known brand in your car(Rockford Fosgate) It's the cheapest one from that brand. Use that amp you got on your door speakers and get another one just for your sub/subs.

It's a four channel amp. So I don't think It'll kill the speakers. Unless that 1000watts are rms and not peak power. lol
