Stock amp location and wiring

I have a 2008 lancer gts with a stock 140 watt unit. After installing megan coilovers, I realized that there seems to be a power cut to the left side speakers over bumps. Its not the same cut as a cd skipping. There is a noticeable volume difference. To confirm this, I played with the balance on the radio. I parked the car and placed the balance all the way to the left and it sounds like 20 watts of power compared to the balance all the way to right. While driving at, I can notice volume changes. Its as if there's a loose wire or loose ground connection. Anyone have suggestions of tackling this issue before ripping apart my car or paying someone to do so? I also need to know where the stock amp and wires run..
