Stock Mitsu Head Unit

I was wondering. I have taken out my factory head unit from my lancer and was wondering if I could intall the head unit into a friends 89 Camry. I dont know if this could be don't. I am assuming that it could be but I just want to know if anybody has done this before.

Thanks in Advance.

It can be done, with the right wiring harness and dash kit.

Anybody know if the stock HU has pre-amp outputs. I'd like to get a 4-channel amp to run some better front/rear speakers but would like to keep the stock HU so people will be less likely to break in and steal stuff.

shouldn't need a kit, it's iso mount

you'll need a 70-1761 harness and 71-7001 harness from Metra
they should be $12 each from local car audio store
