Gotta thank you anyway for giving me some great ideas to build on!

 

I got the amp in and the wiring ran... started tuning the amp (LPF, HPF and everything). I had the bass on the stock HU to negative 6 and the volume to like level 5... the gain on the amp at minimum. Lo and behold 20 minutes later cops show up and gimme a noise pollution ticket. It was only like 9pm... this is gay. Im gonna fight this thing. But man does this sub hit. with everything down low i can still hear it inside the house from the garage (through like 2-3 walls). Im gonna have so much fun with this thing!!!!

 

haha looks like my drive way from last weekend...still havent been able to fully clean up....i have wires pieces and stuff everywhere, even in my living room..ugh...but man do my new babies hit gotta love sound...does your trunk, and wing rattle bad????/

 

Yeah, the wing and whole trunk lid rattles pretty bad... gotta dynamat it.

Off to school to pound the brains out of everyone...

 

man, i turned it up to 1/2 blast today... u know to slowly break it in... and the wing rattles like a mother being knocked up on a 3 legged bed

The box is done, but it needs to be carpeted and the lexan needs to be cut. The system is hooked up and it hits nicely. I just gotta break in the sub for a while before i really begin bumping it.

you think our wing will fall off? we were contemplating that, told my bro i hope it does that way i can get and evo wing and throw it on there. it seems like the truck is not connected good enough and rattles bad too : (

 

the last system i had rattled my trunk pretty bad also, so I ripped up a pillow and stuffed the opening of the trunk with the pillow's cotton. It helped a lil bit, but not much. If the wing continues to bug me, i might consider going wingless
