This a pet peeve in the lancer and seeing thoughts an inputs on this idea

Mitsubishi Lancer OEM Power Window Switch

Any guru ever had these switches apart and if it would be easy to find/ convert
All of the switches lighted , main panel / rear and passenger doors?

Simple ideas I like seeing things at night , including the sunroof switch would be also in mind if anyone can find something to work?

 

OR simply add a small LED above the panel powered by the parking lights...
Build a small shield over it so it only directs light down on the panel...
Tie the color of the bulb to your exterior color (or interior color if you have a scheme).

OR use an ultraviolet 'black light' and add some white paint (or sticker) to the switches...

 

should there just not pop off and or have able to put a led in there RHD opposite button haha side is lighted ,

like lets say I went to find extra switches at a junk yard riped the panel open
I am trying for as oem look and function
