So my issue is i have 2 Lancer GT (2009) and (2015) they both comes with Rocksford sound system from factory but 2009 lancer is non touch radio and 2015 is non navi touch screen radio. So i ordered android radio 10.1 inch it came with all harnesses and canbus it was all plug n play.
First i tried to install it on 2009 lancer plugged all harnesses to factory harness but radio was not turning ON. No power at all.
Then i tried on 2015 lancer and it turned on but there was no sound from speakers. Nothing. I tried all option and car models on canbus setting but no luck 😞.
Then i went back to 2009 lancer and install it again but this time i removed 2 wires from android harness RED AND BLACK. I connected red to a radio fuse in a fuse box under steering wheel and black one to the car chassis. Radio turned on and worked even sound is amazing. Now my issue is with 2015 lancer. Why i am not getting sound ?
one of my friend had same issue with 2015 lancer after installing android then he went to some shop and they fixed it but they charged him for the same amount he bought the radio it was $120. But he sold the car long ago. My friend said there was only one wire they swapped but he doesn’t have any idea what it was.
can someone help me with that if someone had this issue before?
