Stock Radio Skipping
Stock Radio Skipping
Just wondering if anyone else has been having this problem at all, is this normal?
It doesn't skip when going over rough roads or anything, just like little dips, and only every now and then, but say it skips once, then it'll skip a couple more times every couple of seconds until i get pissy, and eject the cd...
anyone else having this problem with the stock?
planning on replacing it with a sony mp70 soon, but till then, skipping is annoying...

Wow, i did'nt know that they would get hot and act strange. My radio skipped for the first time the other day but I thought that I just had a bad cd in there. Oh well, Im getting a DVD unit soon anyway. Thanks for the info.
here's an idea. check your battery. i know it sounds silly but i had the same problem. and yea i also knew that my battery was going bad (gut feeling) and yea one day i did die. and i replaced it. and the skipping went away, except when i put in a bad cd, but then thats the cd's fault, not the h/u
I was driving across I-80 in the middle of Iowa or Nebraska, (they look the same) and the cd's were coming out hotter and hotter and eventually it refused one. Just my luck the only thing on the radio was country and it didn't even come in well.
