throttle lag
I was stopped at a light twice today and pushed the gas down and nothing, engine almost died and stayed that way for about 10 seconds, started pumping the gas and the car started jerking really bad and then did a nice little burn out. maybe its the sudden air temp change but it scarred the crap out of me. anyone else have this issue?

I think it is the flux capacitor acting up.
No, seriously... I'd venture a guess that you might have some crud in your fuel system, or maybe just was a freak thing. Ever happened before? Also, if you have a short ram and you sat in one spot too long with no air, it may have just sucked up too much hot air and then freaked out when you gave it the gas.

might just be a problem with the tranny, I don't know anytign about autos. Or it might be there's a hole in your intake piping after the MAF, I didn't clamp mine down once and started my car and it idled like crap and had no throttle response.

all I have is piggy back and SRI (from RMR). I am not really sure what happened, I've had the piggy and its been just fine besides the rough idle for about a week. ill keep my eye on it and check my fuel sock and pump later tonight and check for any obvious debis. ill also give my airfilter a nice cleaning. Ill keep everyone updated and bring a camera with me so next time I can show exactly what it is doing.

piggy back is doing it, that happens in my car too, its just the programming sometimes, it doesnt happen often but i know thats whats doing it, if it happens too much either uninstall the piggyback or redo the map

I wouldn't honestly have thought that a piggyback comp. would be the cause of such problem, but when you think about it, it wouldn't take much more than a number being a decimal off or something of that sort when the map is made.

So, unless it is just an install error, sounds like some programming needs tweaking.

-check your plugs and air filter. otherwise, do a tune up and get yourself a different tank of gas + fuel system cleaner.
EDIT: if the car was idling considerably low it will act that way as well

well, filter is clean, plugs are brand new and gapped and verified 4 times, fuel sock looks like new, filled up on a brand new tank of gas from a shell station I have never been to to make sure it wasn't the station I normally go to and I got 93 octane rather than 89 to make sure I had more than enough, its still doing it and actually getting more frequent, drove around a bit today and its done it 3 times today. I don't know if I can emphasize that its not like 2 or 3 seconds of lag, its like 10. the car idles at around 900 now normally, I turned up the idle because it wanted to die all the time and i've turned it back down and up to 1000, still has the same issue.
I just noticed earlier today to, even after driving my car in almost 20% humidity and getting the engine warmed up really good, the reaks of gas at idle and actually puts out a bit of a fog in the exhaust, its not white or gray, but you can see the exhaust. if I rev the engine up it goes away until the idle settles and its back again. very weird. I double check all my solder to make sure the connections were good and they are all AOK. I like the extra power it gives but for us auto guys alot of us seem to be taking a hit on driveability. not really sure what to do. any other advice guys?
