i am one of the cars that RRM is using to test soft ware update to improve idle and performane on the 02 03 lancers. i am not the only car but i have been running on it for 3 days and all i can say is PROBLEM SOLVED. i have nothing but good thing to say about it, the idle is perfect even with the air on, the throttle response has inproved and it is just overall awesome to drive. and i have no check engine and no idle prob, it runs like the day i bought it, SIMPLY AWESOME. and Rob said that all the ECU's from now on will come with this tune. and Rob also said that he will publish this tune so that all you guys who are having problems will benifit.

in my oponion this is an awesome thing i was just out driving and the throttle response is great and the overall drivibilty is perfect, i can give to car power and the wheels will break loose the acceleration on the top end is very good. overall i love driving my car now and i would recomend a piggy for anyone who is thinking about it.

The boxes shipped from this point on will have the software update. Furthermore V2 guys with software will get the update for free. Give me some time to get the documentation together and I will post it this weekend.

This news is like music to my ears. Can i ask what was wrong with the first version that was fixed to make this ultimate piggy back.

 

what about us guys without the software to tune; are we going to be forced to buy the software to get the 'corrected' tune?

i just got back from some driving and damn i love my car now smooth idle and nice even power, friggin sweet i can't say enough.

 

does this change the stage 2 turbo tune as well?

 

I know This has been asked a million times (and im kinda lazy to read through and find the answer). so, the ver.2 piggy can be used with turbo as well? I would like to get it but wasnt sure if ver.2 could be used at later date with turbo. I have an auto. thanks.
