I have Lancer 2006 4G13 1.3L 90hp engine GLX Egypt (Medial East)
tire size 14" 185 / 65
Automatic transmission

I wish to do engine swaps 4G13 1.3L engine to replace this engine 4G94 2.0L SOHC for various reasons. To produce horsepower readings in excess of 130hp
My question is
should I swap also brakes, suspension, traction, tire sizes ,fuel pump
or i can use min and i just replace the engine only

from the little that i know provided everything bolts right up you will need the ecu for the 2.0, you will need the fuel pump from 2.0 or just a bigger fuel pump and any other thing that concerns the engine will be needed as for brakes wheel suspension that is entirely up to you not needed but prob will help but wont stop the engine from functioning depends on how far you wanna take the conversion, the smaller tires with an ecu calibrated for bigger wheel may throw off the speedo a bit not a big deal though
