hey i just bought an ecu from this guy who sent it into rrm for a reflash. they reflashed it and then it was shipped to me it is a auto version 2 and now after installing it my car turns off by itself when im at a light or stop. its been 1 day since its been installed and its still just turned off. also if im in neutral and rev to 2000 the car will automaticcally drop rpms to 1500 and then back to 2000 and keep doing it over again. same if im at 3000 or 4000. why is my ecu doing this ?

 

Wait a second...from reading is your car a manual? And ECU is for a automatic? Thats probably where your problem is.

Did you reset the ECU and redo the learning process.

 

yea it still just turns off when i come to a stop like the rpms drop then it turns off and my check engine light is one. i triple checked the connections all in the right spots and there solid

 

the check engine light is gone but the car still turns off after its warmed up it just drops rpms and turns off and it is surging as well.

 

I'm guess the ecu could have malfunctioned.

 

yea mabye idk whats happening it has the latest reflash in it.

 

Have you tried getting tech support from RoadRace?

 

of course i did everything they said.
