Breaking in a Piggyback
Breaking in a Piggyback
how long does it normally take for it to break in has anyone had the same problem as me ? where the car is surging and turning off after its warmed up ? if so how long did it take to fix or what did you do to fix it ?
What do you mean by breaking in a piggy back?
There shouldn't be any "breaking in period", but there is a learning curve for the ecu. Remember after installing something like this or resetting the ECU (keeping the battery off for 30 min or so) that you must let the car idle for a minimum of 10 minutes and then drive conservatively as it learns. Don't rev high or hit the high way right after install.
Also, if you did the above and are still having problems, odds are you botched the install. Contact RRM

Do you think he has the wrong one installed , cause t looks like the OZ , will not work in the ES. I Think , the difference between manual and auto and V1 &v2 ? which one do you have?

I don't know about other versions. But I know wiring is usually the problem.
