im not sure which walbro i am using right now, as it came with the RRM kit...

Im too lazy to upload pics from my laptop, but my map goes like this:

RPM ---- Timing
3000 ---- 14
3500 ---- 12
4000 ---- 9
4500 ---- 7
5000 ---- 11
5500 ---- 17
6000 ---- 21
6500 ---- 22

still room for advanced timing? BTW this is on 91 octane
Im using the high pressure one. I don't think we'll be seeing fuel pressures high enough to justify the use of the high pressure model... On that note I do have one of the non-high pressure model walbro out of the car now if you need. Pm me

I'm gonna pull out my fuel pump first to see which model it is. maybe the pump is going bad or the filter is clogged? And if changing it to a new GSS342 does not fix the problem then I'll buy an aeromotive FPR

i was told that if it whines its working.... If its clogged then i guess you could check your fuel pressure at the rail.. Should be hella low if its clogged.....

Be careful swapping out the FPR. Injectors are made to atomize fuel at a certain pressure range. If you go beyond that, you can get inconsistent fueling from poorly atomized fuel.

Yes, most Walboro's whine noticeably.

i am using the wrx 440cc injectors. My walbro still whines, and it looks like it is the 255

what is stock fuel pressure at the rail?
i looked over what RC Engineering used for testing when I sent my injectors to them and they used 42 PSI for testing

I haven't forgotten about this data guys. My customers are up north and are dealing with snow and ice, so no pulls recently. However, a local guy is about to finish his build and I should be able to continue work on this with his car.
