+ means the ECU is adding fuel and increasing the MAF value lets the ECU know that there is more air than it's expecting.

If you're going lean at WOT, increase the MAF values in that hz range.

Divide the left column in the MAF scaling table by 10 to get the hz value. The last cell, 16XXX is 1600 hz.
so are we leaving the MAF Size alone?

So whats everyone using for injector scaling and latency for the 440cc injectors?

I can't get mine to idle at 14.7 it's too lean around 18.0-19.0 AFR

I.m using the stock latency
But my idle is rough too. Curious...

What is your AfR at idle?

So your injector scaling is stock also?

afr is around 14.7ish at idle but heres the thing. I have 210 as my injector scaling, stock latencies, and using a eclipse maf plate

hmm isn't stock scaling 232?

I'll play with the latencies in the morning and see what I'll get.

I'm working on a car right now with the 440's and I'm trying out the stock WRX latencies and scaling as a starting point. We'll see how it goes. I'll report back.

About the MAF scaling ... I've got the injectors dialed in on one car and we should have WOT logs in the next couple of days. Waiting on the other as it's the same car with the 440's mentioned above.

I've got a problematic Evo at the house as well that has idle issues after cams. It's definitely related to MAF readings so I'll likely learn much more about the different settings as I troubleshoot that car more.

is there any way we can add fuel during cold starts?

i know evo ROMs have cold start enrichment tables.
I richened the fuel map in the idle areas but it only affects idle during normal operating temps.

mines is usually around 14ish hot or cold start but i have to blip the throttle to start her up. Would help if we could dump more fuel in on startup to simulate this throttle "blipping"

There is a table, but it's not defined. I don't do disassembly so I can't find it myself. It's basically a fuel modifier for start up.

You could always tune the injector latencies for more/less fuel during cranking ... just note the voltages and adjust the latencies in that range.

the car will idle in open loop until it reaches a certain temp ... adjusting the map will help the issue in that range. Once it's closed loop there is nothign you can do. You can however lower the crossover value at your idle RPM (Open Loop Load map) to force an open loop idle and then just dial in the fuel map and idle stepper values to your liking.

I reviewed logs last night and found promising results. The issue seems to begin around 500hz airflow, so that is where the changes need to be made. When I get a solid map I'll post it for you all.
