I have the tactrix cable for CAN vehicles and have been tuning my WRX. My friend has an 08 Lancer, and I was wanting to flash it for him. Anyone know where I can get definitions and maps for this?

 

I've asked the dealer many times and even talked to a mitsu parts guy. They all say that the maps get updated through the satellite link. I have yet to get any map updates and I've had the car since Aug '07. Maybe the '09s have newer maps?

 

i think you guys are talking about two different maps. I think hes referring to the ECU map, I could be wrong but he is talking about tuning and your talking about navigation map(s) (i think)

 

ECU tuning maps. Like Air/Fuel etc. Not navigation maps.



and I'm unsure if anyone has managed to get any definitions or maps for the 08 Lancer. I know the Evo-X guys have some stuff going, so you may wanna read up in some of their threads

I thinking the Evo X defs might work, but the maps need to be completely different.

 

the evo defs probably won't work. I don't know 100%, but i would assume they have a completely different ECU.
