you might pick up a couple hp to the wheels... your probably better off get an underdrive pulley. but if your looking for substanial gains then save and go turbo

i put one on my 02 oz and it works great seems to have given me less drag on the crank and more ponies down. but be careful NOT to bend the crank trigger censor tab taking the old pully out or putting the new one in. IT sucks trust me. NIGHTMARE!!!! 5 weeks in the shop trying to figure out the problem.

Hey what was your vehicle doing in regards to the crank trigger problem? I assume your talking about the crank angle sensor tab? And why would you have to go that in depth to change a pulley? Not to dis just curious. All you gotta do is remove the bolt, pull the pulley with a puller, put the new one on, then tighten the bolt down to spec and it'll suck down the pulley flush. Make sure it lines up with the key on the crankshaft though. Oh and as far as getting a pulley, why spend a ton of money on one of those other ones when you can get an ebay pulley for a mirage and it'll work just as well, if not better. I think there are some threads on here that compare the pulleys and found out the ebay one is actually a really good pulley. I bought one and am thoroughly satisfied with it. Just type in mirage pulley on ebay. They're only like 35 shipped. And they are underdrive. All my accessories still work really well.

seems like a rather inexpensive way to get some extra power off the line. i wonder if it would add some power to the car when driving from a dead stop with the a/c on?

Ok so ya month old thread but what exactly is the difference between a crank pulley and an underdrive pulley? Is the underdrive just a smaller diameter or something?

An aluminum crank pulley has the OEM dimensions and diameter of the stock pulley. But since it is made from aluminum and not steel there is a lower rotational weight. An underdrive pulley increases the diameter of the crank pulley as well as having it made from aluminum. This causes a lower rotational speed on all the accessory belts, in an effort to free up horsepower.
