flat foot shifting amby?
Not lifting off the throttle when you shift. Drag racers and posers like to do it. Drag racers need to to save time and they can generally afford the consequences. Posers do it to beat the minivan full of kids next to them at the stoplight and then ***** and moan when their transmission blows up.

LOLOLOL. I have plenty of friends that pull that crap around here. It makes me laugh so hard when they do it. One guy destroyed his motor on his honda because he had disabled his rev limiter and he went to slam it into second and it got stuck just out of gear and that engine just went vroooooOOOOOM clank cla clank clank. Hilarious. Oh, and ya, dont do that lol.

I'm amazed at the number of people on NASIOC who do it in their WRX despite the weak transmission design. I get mad if I don't rev match perfectly let alone if I bounce off the rev limiter while engaging the next gear.

Launching isn't too bad if you don't do it regularly, do it properly and have tires that allow a bit of wheel slip.

The clutch will die but you'll need to upgrade that when you go turbo anyways.

Pros
You'll gain a decent amount of power
A turbo kit is relatively cheap

Cons
With your mileage, many things can go wrong
If something goes wrong, it can get expensive fast
Fuel economy goes down
to add to this, before you turbo. get new internals to save money if **** gets ****ed up

Ill have to agree if it is a daily driver then dont do it. To putt around in on the weekends, hell yes!
