I don't see why not the oz shouldn't have a different ecu than the base lancer just a different rom in it.

Just don't do it if your using an automatic.

Teaser pic:

I plan on just making some code segments not availiable by non op'ing them out. It will save me loads of time.

I plan on leaving the stock evo 8 rom values into the rom I hope you guys don't mind. The stock 2.4L map looks like complete *** its wavy and looks like someone took a perfect map and beat it with a bat.

A good map should be smooth and interpolate well between load rpm points which the stock map epic fails at.

Well I'm nearly done getting it coded however I should caution both my testers here that this is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

I'm going to try and get tephra to look over the code but I wont hold my hopes up :P.

Basically everything will need to be tested ever so slowly. Timing and fuel maps since they are in ram need to be fully tested they are putting the expected values. Need to test out the triggers too. TPS triggering while the car is on but not running is the only one which i think will work the best. ADC input 0F is probably not going to be found anytime soon and these cars lack an ICS button.

Be super cautious when trying out those two methods as they could potentially be switched differently in the lancer auto making the car bounce between maps.

I would recommend starting with everything off and working into the mods one by one to see if they work. Don't try them all out at once or we can never figure out if there is a bug whats going on.

Cool,

When testing the rom make sure you put in super low values for timing and AFR. I basically want you guys to validate what you put into the car really does come back out.

I left the alt map ICS feature in there but I'm totally unsure what it would do. I would recommend high caution when testing it.

I still have to get the 1 byte variables and crap ready in the MUT table.

Ok I've looked it over a few times now and I think everything is as good as I can figure out.

link62, 4g94t you should both get an email from me with a rom and xml to try out.

Be extremely cautious if the rom fails to provide the right settings there is the possibility of engine damage. Test it out slowly building up rpm and throttle input until you can rest assured the settings are working.

I would start literally with everything off and see if only big maps will work then move onto things like alt maps and so on.

Log rpm, load1byte, timing, afrmap, and knock sum.

I can't guarantee the knock light will work its a different rom but it looks simple enough.
