when he copies in (notice the way I'm sort of hi-jacking) his small map, into this much bigger map, what's the perscribed method for filling in the surrounding areas?
Does he keep all of his 0-100 load "stock" or basically what he has in his existing ROM? And how should he fill in the stuff greater than 100?

I suggest using the XLS file posted in the Main Tephra V7 thread in the ECUFlash forum. It ill convert your maps over to the new, larger format. Basically, it'll just copy over the last column and row a bunch in your case.
Yes, you should automatically see over 100 load now. I would suggest taking cues from some of the Evo maps posted in the forum and then make them a little more tame for your use ... richen the fuel and pull out some timing. Go from there.

You're fine, the tactrix OP2 plugs in to the OBD2 plug, the lil white plug goes right next to it, and conects to the OP2 and the usb cable ties them into your laptop

Not looking to tune the car myself I have Ivey for that
I'm just seeking knowledge would like to see what's going on and have general info don't wanna be calling up Ivey at all time's of day just so I can adjust my 2 step or lower my boost.

I just tried "Bigmaps.xls" or whatever, and it's probably more trouble than it's worth to lancer users. We only have like a 10by10 to start with, so just paste that in and make sure the RPM and load values match. If they don't, like 1 starts at 0 rpm, and the evo starts at 500...then you'll probably be 1 value off the whole way down. I'd suggest you copy the timing and fuel maps from an existing user with a lancer who has the same maf as you, since i hear that if you get the evo maf, your load values start to slide to the right more. Then you'll have a much more reasonable starting point...you are almost dangerous right now with such high AFR's. I really think adjusting your open loop thresholds should help that though, since you're not getting openloop until way too late imo

Kid, he means the RPM values in the left column. 500 for the Evo and 0 for the Lancer. Honestly, you could change that to 347 if you wanted ... it really doesn't matter. Below min values and above mavx values the ECU will keep using the values in the first/last column/row.
Since Lancer rev lower than Evo's, I'd take advantage of the added resolution and scale those columns to make better use. You don't need anything above 6500 RPM in an auto Lancer as it won't rev past 6200. You could add more resolution in the spool up areas or at high RPM if you wanted.
Most vehicles reset that warning by holding the trip reset button on the cluster, then turning the key on and keep holding it for like 5 sec. Some cars, like VW, have you press another button once the key is on.
