How would i get a "semi- acurate" pull from virtual dyno? is this what you guys are using? i downloaded it and added my cars info in the XML file with the weight and auto trans gear ratio's. You can only however do a pull in 3rd or 4th gear... how would i do this with an auto? do i simply wait until the car shifts to third and log and do a pull till it shifts again or something? once its in third gear i cant just "smash the pedal" because it will automatically downshift to second, even if im in the third gear selection. any ideas?

 

I have a manual so I'm unsure, but are you saying if you have the shifter in "3" it will shift out of 3rd on it's own?
That's not worth a **** at all.

I woul think there is some combo of changes to be made in the xml to do this.
Because I know people use it for their autos.

 

Yes, every auto will do this, the computer will downshift the car automaticallyif the increesed load is too much for that gear to handle. But if i were to do a first gear pull i can make it happen because it wont shift up on its own or downshift
