what up guys, I got a 09 DE (auto) I know there isnt to much i can do with that, but i got a Injen CAI anyways.I am very pleased wit the results Looking for a few more pony's. Should i look into some headers or an exhaust. I could do without the noise i'm looking for performance. suggestions??

 

depending on the header you can usually increase your torque which is a huge plus for lancer automatic......dun really cared much abt exhaust cause the stock exhaust pipe is not really restrictive except maybe just do an axle back if anyting to shed off some weight.

I live in Australia and i can tell you that there are a lot better headers out there then the RPW headers. First of all RPW do not make there headers. They just buy them in and take off the manufactureres markings and sell them as there own.

There 4-2-1 are made by liverpool exhaust in NSW and are a made of steel and poorly made.

The best headers on the market are the Supercircuit 4-2-1 headers. They are made from Stainless steel and have good size piping. They are a direct replacement of the OEM manifold. I have them on my car and tested them on a dyno and had good improvement results.. I also fitted a mandrel bent SS 2.5" custom exhaust and 100 cpi cat.

 

I wanna get some headers for when i start my mods, was thinking to get the one from RRM, but also saw the RPW ones. But if you say SC is better then that one, what would you saw vs the RRM one, as gains in HP/ MPG/ TQ? just looking for thoughts.
