Greddy ti-c vs sp elite - loudness factor
I just bought the sp elite and it does sound good. I was wondering how it compares to the ti-c in loudness. When I ordered it the salesguy made it sound liken the ti-c would be hella loud so I went with the sp elite.
It's nice but I am regretting not getting the ti-c. Does anyone know how loud it really is?? From the YouTube videos I've seen they sound similar. I went with the sp because I heard the ti-c drones quite a bit.
I might just sell the sp elite and buy the ti-c.

ti-c drones bad, keep the sp ...
i had the ti-c and got rid of it, not only does it look ricer on a slow NA car but it sounds obnoxiously loud. I now have the se (discontinued but apparently is the SP with a titanium tip) and it is much better.

See that's my problem. Some people say it's way too loud and others say it's just right. When I watch videos it sounds the same, but i'm thinking that the ti-c has more of a droning to it.
I might have to try and find someone local who has one so I can hear it.

To me with dynamatted trunk in a sportback, I got the Greddy SP Elite and it is at the edge of bearability sound wise. Again awesome low end rumble, but don't want to be too noisy for slow N/A small displacement engine.
There is already a bit of drone in the cabin with the SP for me, I wouldn't want to test how much more a TI-C would do to it. But if you drive the sedan style lancer and have the enclosed trunk to drown out some of it, your milage may vary.

its all about opinion when you describe something in terms of loudness and looks its all opinion NOT facts. Some people think the ti-c is perfect, others think its a ricey fart cannon.
Ive owned both the ti-c and the se (sp elite with a burnt tip).
the ti-c was not only too loud (@ first it was great but after a while ehh...) but it droned bad when cruising.
imo the ti-c also is a cannon exhaust that looks great on cars that can back it up, honestly the lancer cant.
the se/sp elite, looks great, like an "oem upgraded" exhaust and is almost drone free when cruising. the se is still loud when accelerating but the fact that it does not drone (as bad or nearly as bad as the ti-c) on the hwy when cruising makes it bearable.
