Alright I have a fully built 4g94 that will get a haltech and turbo soon, ( I don't need some 19 year old jacka** telling me I'm going to blow my engine) I need a way to raise the Rev limiter to at least 9k. Cam and valve springs are rated to 10k, rotating assembly is balanced with in 1g

 

you should be able to set your RPM limit with the haltech...as long as the motor has been built properly, you should be ok at 9k. if you're looking to increase rev limit before installing the haltech then you need to tune the stock ECU, and if you do that, then you may as well skip on the haltech...
