Auto Lancer Roms?

So I'm having trouble finding out what Roms are available or an auto Lancer with F/I. So far there's the manual only tephra rom from the evo8 and then there is the roadspike maps that go over the base rom. I'm looking for something that can let me do away with the piggyback on my car to avoid potential issues with wiring as well as reliability and accuracy since there is a bit of development done on the ecu here. Is tuning the stock rom the most feasible way?

Yes, using roadspikes rom is your best bet. Allows much better definition in tuning with bigger maps. I'd also recommend getting a larger MAF sensor such as the 501 or maybe the evo one of your running big boost.

Do you or anyone else know how easy it is to set up the rom besides the fuel table, injector scaling and maf scaling? Just speaking in simple terms how easy is it to get a simple working tune going. Or if there is anyone in so Cal area who can do it for me and their rates.

I'd suggest you look this over before doing anything.

I'm mostly trying to get rid of the piggy back since the ecu would be better at controlling fuel and timing with a reflash. Alot of people here say stock injectors are good for 7 psi so my 6 shouldn't make an issue for the time being. Another reason is mostly because sometimes the afr drops to 9.6 from over compensation and the car noticeably stutters.

Well as long as you can datalog, it's not to hard to tune it. Roadspikes rom has the flashing check engine light when there is knock detected so that helps. Just look at the current timing on the stock map and try to convert it to the newer bigger map. Though I think roadspikes is pretty retarded already. Then keep in mind, when you start to see boost, it's usually after the 100 load column. You will probably be able to hit about 10-12* by redline just for starters then you can build on that.
