Spark Plug Change - 2nd Opinions?

So I just swapped my Spark Plugs out and gaped according to what I was able to find online for a 2012 Lancer ES. Gap stated was .044

Since I changed them, it feels like 1st into 2nd and second into 3rd, kind of drag a bit. No difference in motor noise, no excess vibrations, no warning lights of any kind. Up to 20 mph I'm running 2k - 2.5k rpms, on my way to 40 I could push upwards of 3.5k, this is if I get just a tad heavy on the accelerator. If I slow into my drive off a dead stop it seems to run alright.

This is a first vehicle for me on a few points. First eco mode car, first import and first cvt trans.

Is what I'm experiencing normal?

I had the negative unplugged to reset the ECU while I swapped the plugs.
