Ok so it took me about 5 hours by myself...and everything to my knowledge is back all hoses electric and such...now my problem is, when i turn on the car there is this siren type noise comming from what sounds like the manifold, i mean real high pitch siren type noise...now when i rev the engine it goes away and the second i let off the gas it goes back to the noise, my check engine light isnt on either and i have tripple checked all the wires and hoses it seems everything is in the correct spot, does anyone have any possible ideas? someone from rrm maybe, boe? I gonna try to drive it and see if its ok and if i have any gains, but i dont understand...some one help a brotha out

Does it idle OK? Does it sound like air? I would take some kind of spray, like carb cleaner and spray each connection and listen for changes. I found a bad fuel injector seal like that.

ok i checked the egr valve, cause thats where it seems the noise is comming from...i had forgot to put the gasket there, so i put the gasket on and its still making the noise. The tb to the im has its gasket and the im connected to the engine has its gasket...i dont understand what it could be. my guess right now is a vacuum leak that im gonna go double check right now, if anyone has any input or ideas about what this is. please give me some feedback!

double check all vacuum lines and make sure you tightened all the bolts to the motor becuase it sounds like you have air screeming out of there. your gains should be felt on the top end, my car pulled harder from about 3.5k and up once i put it on. also make sure that you didn't tighten the throttle cable to much cuasing the butterfly to stay open while at idle.

You could find a plug for the TB then pressurize the IM through the PCV hose going into the IM. Spray everything down with a soapy water solution if you don't hear the air leak initially after applying air pressure.

Submerge your car with a snorkel on the intake and wherever the bubbles come from before the engine siezes...that's where the leak was.

No clue. Never had anything like this happen to me.

i figured it out!!!

...its the borred out throttlebody rrm sent me, Cause i took it off, put my old one on and the noise is gone. There is a crack upper right top, so im guessing thats whats causing it. When i first got it i saw the crack but because it was at the top and not really near any air flow i figured it wouldnt matter but i guess it does

RRM sent me a defective TB

ill give them a call today, im so glad it wasnt me who screwed up the install, i didnt want to have to take that manifold back off! haha
