RRM Intake Manifold and Throttle Body
RRM Intake Manifold and Throttle Body
Does anyone know the measurements of how much they actually port these out to? Also, what kind of gains can I expect? 8 - 10? I am shooting to outrun the RRM shop car, but i've never really done a performance orientied car. Most of mine have been show and shine cars. So i'm definitely willing to get a little crazy with performance.
Those figures are more for a f/i car, not n/a. I'd just read up cuz there's already plenty of threads regarding the tb, im, and a combination of both. Good luck with your quest to beat the RRM shop car!
Boe told me I would gain around 10 or more with both on. I only have the manifold on now, but I can feel a good gain, especially top end.
10 for n/a, more for F/I im sure. Your throttle response will also be alot beter too

anyone know where I can get a cam? Also could someone point me to a thread or site about your fuel and all that good stuff? I wanna make sure I understand everything before I start tearing into all my maps and everything..

I think RPW is the only company who makes cams. They come in stages, 1, 1.5, 2, and 3.
Fuel, u can get FPR (fuel pressure regulator), Fuel pump, Fuel rail, Bigger injecters, And u would want to get some type of ecu upgrade like emanage, piggyback, s-afc, ems or something to tune all that stuff with. If u didnt know, If u do upgrade ur cam, u wont be able to use RRM's piggyback, unless u could bring it into their shop...so unless u could do that u would have to tune urself or take it to a dyno and tune it, etc.
did i leave anything out?

In the case of upgrading a cam, I'd seriously recommend at least the e-manage for fuel tuning. The SAFC can only reach so far down in the rpm band, whereas the e-manage can be set to literally any point.
ROCK is going to whoop your *** when he hears about that. hahah no im just kidding, thats a good goal, its gonna be real tough tho. make sure you can go turbo for sure before getting caught up with beating monsters.
