it happened after soldering a MIL eliminator to the second O2 sensor. im not sure what exactly happened, but chances are the electricity was looking for a ground and found it in the ECU

good news, the ECU wasn't bad at all, just a blown fuse. BOTS...if you can get down to ILP one day, have them install it. they know what to do. i asked my mechanic to wire it in and he F*!%ed it all up. it's all good now tho...jeff at ILP is the ****tttt.

the ignition control fuse, i think

yes thanks Link...a little too late tho hopefully others won't make this mistake again.

Hardcore...thanks, i tried to call vision imports all weekend and they were on break for the holiday. yes i already thought of all that. the AEM supposedly is in testing phase and i belive they only have a handfull of them for a few dealers. the haltech i dont like...people have already had problems with it.

one quick word if anyone is thinking about stand-alone ecu's. it is not quite as easy as one might think, b/c of the fact that our cars uses simplified wiring. it has made my accel dfi ecu take forever. it has been a real pain in the a$$. once the shop is done hopefully i can have some more info on all the pros, cons, and problems. we shall see hopefully very soon.
