Pricing on the Quad Trottle body??

I've Been looking at the Quad Throttle body from rpw and it was talking about 50% increases and with a cam, extractors, exhaust and some other things, a 100% possible increase in HP.. it says its a good alternative to Turbo cuz its cheaper and you dont need to mod the engine as much. Can anyone expand on this?? Like, how much would it be to hook the whole deal up and not damage the engine?? Thanks boys.

Like David Thomas always says...talk to Vision Imports for pricing. They know what's going on. They should be able to figure out a total for you if they don't have a sort of "kit" to begin with.

I just finished reading up on the quad throttle body, and that sounds like a tasty option to forced induction. Hardcore, was that 2 grand shipped or 2 grand + shipping?

That does sound rather tasty as opposed to droppin 5 grand or more for the turbo, intercooler, and pistons and all the other bells and whisles... i still with it was 1000 instead of 2?? is that a possibility or is the chip necessary? I'm gonna have to call vision imports tomorrow once they open i think

Tuning will be the key!!!!

Quads w/o cam is nothing. Cam will make it surge crazy at higher rpm.

Most important. Get a laptop and a 2nd car. It'll be a year long project.

I'm in over my head on this one, but from the looks of it, you're gonna need new cam shafts + valve springs + cam gear + fpr + afc?

QUad etc is great stuff. Tuning is the key though. Book some dyno time. HALTECH is rather tough to work with and requires and expert to tune it.

what kind of gains would you be looking at if you had a turbo feeding into quad throttle bodies

More components = More points of failure. I can't imagine tuning that thing. What a nightmare
