Why wouldn't you just go with the rrm turbo kit then.. or better yet find out what you need and build your own with money left over. It seems like too much of a hassle to do a motorswap when a turbo could equal the same amount of power easily. Swapping the motor would give you more reliability issues than putting a turbo setup on the existing motor.

You acn do a 4G92 swap in your lancer. i believe this has been covered before just search around.
All depends on what you get the motor for, and how much you know. Ifi it is worth the time and money, no one can answer that but yourself.

y would you spend the money to do the swap just to get 42 more hp to the crank. lets say it does cost just as much as a turbo. might as well go with the turbo or even a supercharger for the price and have 200+whp. just my .02. And i'm sure its expensive to get a mivic motor anways due to it being new

I think the cost and freight of the motor alone is more than 1/2 the cost of a RRM turbo kit, if that's what you want to use as a comparison. I'm sure the install would bump you over that $4,000 mark, but in all fairness I'm assuming a worst case scenario here. You may have to have (at least) a custom downpipe made, assuming everything else bolted straight up (which I doubt it would without some modification.

The 4g92 is transversely mounted.
It can be done, but the gen 2 version that faces the right way t-belt is rare as finding a true, rightway T-belt 4g93T.
1 problem = previous mirages/lancers weighted under 2400 lbs. The current lancer is much heavier.
Imagine a SI motor inside the previous gen Accord.

Thanks as always, Baha.
I swear Mitsubishi only made like 4 of them...ever. They're harder to find than a leprechaun in China.
