well does anybody know of a cool air intake similar to AEM's that WOULD fit an automatic without any other mods?

You can modify an existing Cold Air to work on an automatic application if you are very skilled with cutting pipe, but the short answer is no.

i think i remember hearing about some people who made an injen fit but not sure about it.

They used the injen with auto transmissions. One person ended up with a whole in their piping; which could've resulted in serious engine damage.

ok as i am a noob here can u explain to me HOW the same intake can cost 120+$ cheaper from a site given to me by adventon? like im hyped as sh*t right now cause i thought id have to pay 350+ over all with shipping and whatnot. also on a side note its the whole kit thats advertised elsewere right?

This intake is for the 2002-2004ish Lancer M/T with the 4G94 motor.
You have a Evo with a different motor.
This intake would not work for you.

yeah i knew that but the site did link me to a buch of aem cai's for 280... im like moment of awe at the price for some reason i didnt notice the difference between aem and ams >.< my bad
