AND ALSO ALL NISSANS HAVE THEM I DONT KNOW WHY MY FRIENDS NEW SENTRA STOPS AT LIKE 105 AND MY FRIEND 200SX STOPS AT 114 IN LIKE 4TH GEAR WHEN HE IS BARELY MOVING AND THE LANCER WASNT PRODUCED IN USA IT WAS MADE IN JAPAN IT SAYS IT RIGHT ON THE WINDOW TAG.....

 

Oz what year maxima does your friend have...? My mom's '99 maxima does 135 easily without much strain on the engine. She redlines at 6000 and at 135 she's right around 5300 or so give or take a little.

 

If I push the damn thing any harder I can almost guarentee that engines going to blow into a few hundred pieces and I'm going to hear the biggest lecture of my life.
135 is the topout on her car BTW after that the car was like reving an slowing down reving and slowing down. So yeah that's my little input on the little regulator thinguh muh bobber.

 

I took my OZ up to 110 and it was at around 42 or 43 grand...which i waited till after the 500 mile mark so I knew she was broke in properly.

but if we slap turbos in our OZ's will we actually get a faster top speed, I dont think we will,if we can only hit 6 grand in 4th gear it won go too much faster without making the motor smoke like a druggie. Couldnt find a stick so I went with auto....oh well it looks nice anyway

Just to let you all know...this baby handles well. only got it to slide twice and that was on ice...I can swerve in and out of traffic like a get-away in stockholm...heh heh it can fly too...no matter how gutless some people say it is ...heh heh
