Hi. What is the rev limit on a stock 10' Lancer ES? I assume it is at the red line of course, but I would like to know for sure what it is. Thanks.

 

Yes, it's at the red line.

Rev Limiter ON 6602
Rev Limiter OFF 6302

 

Yeah, it's always fun forgetting what gear you're in when messing with a friend just to have your car go BBRRRRRRRRRAAAAPP-----_____________ *silence* ______ BRRRAAAAPPPP!

.. sometimes I hate rev limiters. (But they're there for our own good!)

 

That's odd, I don't have a rev limiter on mine, must be a manual/automatic thing. Have a 2010 SE FED CVT.

 

it only revs to 4500 rpm when in nuetral why is that?

 

ECU is telling the engine not to blow up. the ES isn't a race car and not meant for that sort of stuff
