Cry me a river. $170 is nothing for a header. You don't drive a Honda/Acura, so don't expect Honda/Acura prices. The cheapest 4g94 specific header is the Kamikaze at about $225 (approx w/o shipping), anywhere up to about $400ish for some others. If $170 is too much for your budget, you may want to rethink modifying your car.

Had a comparison but cant find the dyno sheet for a friend with a Mirage.... it was taken a long time ago but he had intake and 2 1/4 exhaust, and added an HP Racing header, and gained somewhere around 11 whp.

He then switched to the RPW headers and yes there was a definite price difference, but there was a definite power gain as well. Didnt lose low end and he gained mid and top end. I'll try to see if he has the dynos still, but I doubt.

Essentially, what I am saying, is that there is no such thing as "cheap" power. If you want power, you will have to pay for it.

This is my little mantra for horsepower:

If it is cheap and good, it wont be fast.
If it is cheap and fast, it wont be good.
If it is good and fast, it wont be cheap.

Thank you AQ

To this day the RPW header has been the only mod I have put on that blew away the before feeling hands down.

Yes it's expensive but I got what I paid for...a smile every time I hit the accelerator.

Talking

if you plan on using the obx header system for the mirage on our cars you will have to take it to an exhaust shop and have them extend the downpipe an inch and a half for it to fit shop by my house does good work only cost 40 to get the pipes extended. fits and aworks great now sounds awsome witha a thermal cat back system.
