420A turbo

Hey, I was just wondering if a 420a off of a wreked turbo eclipse would fit in a 03 oz without any serious modifications.

The 420A engine is a non-turbo engine. The 4G63 was the turbo engine found in Eclipses. Which engine are you referring to?

I wouldn't expect any motors outside of the 4g9x family to fit "without any serious modifications".

420A in all honesty, is a junk motor, for a swap.

Ok you need to search. But yes it is possible but the 420a engine is backwards from the engine in the lancer, making it extremely difficult to do. (found this searching)

It is in the Neon, not in the 2g DSM's.

I believe it is acctually in both, because back in the day my bro had a Neon Sport and I had an Eclipse RS, and we both had the same engine. Its a good engine to work with, very strong, but it needs to stay in its original home, I have also heard it is not good to swap.

I'm pretty sure the 1g Neons are different than the 2g Neons too, but I'm pretty sure they have exhaust mani in the rear, intake in the front on both generations. My girlfriend has a 2001. If I remember I'll double check on Saturday.

I thought the 420a was in the 1g eclipse/talon? and mitsu used the 4g63 on all 2g applications.
