Blown Engine....Thinking about a Swap
Basically, I was going to say that with the piggy you were probably OK using 93. It's more than you need, but it's your money
I'd just rebuild to make another G94 better. Pistons, cams, headwork, valve springs... go after the IM while everything's off the car. Just go wild. The G69 swap is going to be tricky, but you already know that. and if you're concerned about expense, that makes the G69 swap a no-no.
Don't buy new rods because the stockers are good to at least 9 PSI. Unless you're doing your research to figure out whether you want longer or shorter- but don't buy new rods for the sake of new rods.
As long as everything's off, you might as well do the tranny stuff, too. Flywheel (ehh... I'm not sold on these except for drag racing), clutch (for sure!), LSD?! Why not

But if cash is an issue, start simple and at least get the car running.
Good luck

... oh, I guess I count as "etc".Get the 4G94 with the warranty, pistons, rods, LSD (don't buy it from RRM, search up on the Mirage forums as I'm sure someone there knows the part number), and clutch.

I'm going to be running 10.0:1 Weiseco pistons. Does anybod know if this would run fine with RRM's piggyback and can these run on the stock rods?

Stock rods will do but you will need to get your pistons pressed down to your stock rods at a machine shop.
And with Wiseco pistons and RRM's piggyback you might be a little bit lean in top end but not likely.

We have a press so no need to take them to a shop and I think you will be fine with the piggy back even though I dont like it. I would suggest going to another more tunable piggyback if you want to be the fastest NA lancer.
lol aight we'll see how much your pistons help!! Nahh just joking your going to be really quick but we should think about polyurethane mounts and a 93 mani while we are into it this deep. Maybe even a clutch and flywheel combo as well.... Oh yeah call me tommorrow I need something out of your car before I get pulled over AGAIN...
