Oh yes. Total custom. All I would hope for is that the ECU will come with the engine. I don't think I would plan to do this IF someone would find one but hey, I'm bored and want to find out how much is it.
I have already sent couple of e-mails so maybe I will get some answers.

It (the GUDE HEAD PACKAGE) hasn't been done to a lancer MIVEC engine. I know that for a fact because I'm the one who has been asking around for a local (SoCal) lancer who wants to get it done at cost. So as far as a dyno sheet, there is none, until someone gets it done to their engine.
Oh yeah, I'm was doing it as a favor for Mr. Gude because I mentioned to him that I frequent the lancer/evo boards. I've owned a couple of hondas with his head package. I sold the last one to my brother in law and he loves it. I personally didn't dyno any of my cars that had it on there but maybe I can talk my brother in law to do it.. just for ***** and giggles.

It may be a fantastic product, but it's their word against a lot of people's wallets- they need to come with a little more than "because we said so".

Probably, but hey if you want your ride to be one of a kind, jump on it. It's still not that bad comparing it to honda's engines.
I wonder what the heck those guys at mitsu are thinking??? Instead of putting Mivec head on 4G94 block with 4g93 intake manifold they have mess things up.

so it's possible!? Crap it always seems that a MIVEC swap into the 02-03s were impossible, impossible meaning "too much work:don't bother". Damn though, I wanted to put a Ralliart engine in my ride, but this is just as close as I can get.
I wish Boe and the other GURUs can verify and chime in on this...maybe Rock too. Cuz this would be sweet!
Greg if this is possible for sure...I might have to start collecting change from the Sofa.

People who tell you that it's too much work so don't bother are either; happy with driving bone stock vehicles, don't know nor do they care to learn how to, or are just too inexperienced to do major mechanical work on their cars. The way I look at it, the work is the only thing that doesn't cost anything.
As for the 4G93 intake manifold on a 4G94. It is my belief that the 4G94 intake manifold is superior to the 4G93's. It is possible that the 4G93 provides a small gain on the top end but I believe the equal length runners and the larger plenum volume of the 4G94 will create a broader torque band with more useable torque under the curve. JMO However, variable valvetrain on any engine is nice to have.

If you will be really interested in this I will ask me dad to hook up a head with ecu if it is in fact possible.
