oil question
i just got finished changin my oil and for some reson i bought 5W-20 insted of the 5W-30, but i didnt realize it until i was done fillin up the car.
my question is will there be any negative effects if i keep it in there for the 3000mile interval or should i go staight to the parts store and change my oil again? thanks in advance, Pat

5W-20 is actually better than 5W-30
If you google facts about oil changes and all that stuff you will see that lower the difference between the two number the better the oil is. The only thing you should remember, 20W means it will have less lubrication at higher temperatures. The first number (5W) it's for colder temperatures. Lower the number the lower the temperatures it can survive. The second number means the opposite. The higher the number the more hot temperatures it can keep it's lubricative proporties.
