Top Speed?
yea, ive gone 105, but i dont recommend it. the suspension is waaay too soft and u get lift at the front end at high speeds, but id say about 130 is the top, possibly governed speed.
I've gone 125 in an area where i knew cops wouldnt be, unfortunately there is a curve that would be impossible to hold at those speeds w/ stock tires so I never really get to see if i can push it to 130...
I've got 17's (205/40 rated at 240km/hr), lowered kingsprings, and rear sway bar, it sits fine at 190km/hr on decent surface. When test driving an LS (without swaybar) the car felt light at 110km/hr, I'd really recommend a sway bar and new suspension for high speeds. (Oh and I dont recommend speeding at all on public roads)

DaTenshi has been to 130. Many times. On stock tires. The goodyears none the less. A few times with me in the car...
Furthest ive pushed it was 120 on the stock yokos

Are speedometers only go to 120, the hardest i got my lancer to go is 115. I understand you can always increase the horespower and the torque but how the F$ck can you increase your top speed.
its not so much about increasing your top speed but getting to it much faster, which is important.... oh yeah our speedometer goes to 130, just cuz the numbers arent there doesnt mean it wont go any faster.....
Top speed of the lancer has not been reached by anyone yet... I'm saying this because the actual top speed would be when you redline in 5th gear. At 120 im just a bit before 5g's. Thus there is much more room. With the speed limiter the car just isn't going to go as fast as it can. If that is gone i'll estimate she'll do just over 140mph. On that note why the hell would you ever go that fast unless on a track. Even with all the suspension mods i've got still feels very loose at 120. Plus at those speeds you are risking a lot.
Not being a "dad" or anything as pushing the limits is something i love. I'm just being realistic, with my car atleast, about how fast we can go

on my stock goodyears, didnt feel loose or out of the ordinary at all, but i was goin in a straight line...
