Fuel Question (just Ordered from RRm)

Hey guys I just order from RRM, picked up:
Motor Mounts
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump (evo)
Injectors 330cc – low impedance
Vortech FMU
Spark Plugs (BKR7E)
RRM Magnacore Sparkplug Wires
RRM Lightweight Pulley
RRM SS Clutchline

This is stage 2 of my buildup, currently I have installed tein coilovers, Intake, exhaust, and a order in for a rrm non intercooled turbo...lol

My question to you guys is with this setup would the emanage be my best bet for tuning, i'm familiar with this system, would it work? Or is there another recomended type of software to use.

plans are for roughly 7psi on stock internals, for now

I thought we were High IMP injectors. Oh, and don't spend that much for the non-IC kit. PM me about my setup.

I was under the impression that high imedance is more NA, low impedance better for FI

Um, somehow I doubt RRM would sell him the wrong injectors...

Do eManage. You'll be fine.

That's just how they are sold OEM by Mitsubishi. RX7s and Imprezas use high impedence injectors, and both have FI variants.

Your options are emanage (some have had great luck with it), AEM EMS (need to be damn good to use it and have some cash), S-AFC, the RRM piggyback since they now offer software and an ECU reflash (apparently there is a shop in Calgary that does this now so I'm sure theres someone near you that does it as well). I would suggest that whatever route you go, get a wideband O2 so you can monitor the engine and get the tune done professionally. Off topic, I also ordered the RRM motor mount, except I only got the front.

I actually still have my emanage, and wideband left from my old car (1g dsm) should work correctly, right?

yes... but dont forget boost and egt as well... dont want to get a spike while you are tuning and **** everything all up or melt your internals...

also you might want to either have the mods move this into ecu or FI forum(probably better here)... might get a lil bit better help

personally what i would do is get the zeitronix w/ boost and egt accessories from RRM as it can log all of them at once... should make it much easier on yourself to tune

then again im bias as im using that kit.

as far as generic or name brand... make sure you read some reviews and make sure it measures correctly thats all that really matters

Look into the prices of replacement sensors for WB before you buy. Some cost a few hundred for a replacement.
