reseting the stock ECU and driving like a mad man during the learning process will allow you to increase the shift point on an auto to a large extent no use going any higher than redline anyway with our durastic loss in power.

Well if you did some modifications it could be useful. With a new cam, new pistons, full intake and exhaust mods I'm sure it would be beneficial to raise the rev limiter somewhat. Not sure how much would be possible though from a safety standpoint, plus I'd assume fuel would become a huge issue as well.

What do you mean downshifting an auto??? lol I think I know why youve been destroying your trannies.

Even if you had a manual I dont think you'd be able to get in the 15's NA though. Look at the vehicle registry on the site.

I can't see the whole auto thing being that big a deal unless you want to drag or track race it. For auto-x you should be fine since its more about handling and driver skill than anything else.

a non-beleiver eh? there are a few guys around 16.1 i believe and that is with several NA mods missing from the list. IMO it is very possible. it all depends on your know-how, funding, and dedication.

pistons would definately help if want to raise the rev limiter. i thought you were just talking shift points within 'regular' powerband. i'm not so sure how much our valvetrain would like that though. i'm not so sure how much this guy is looking to spend though

for some reason i failed to remember that

i'm sure there is a WAY to make it work on that interface. Hobie might know if you are really interested. maybe try E-manage. i know there isn't as many options as AEM but it's worth a shot if it's compatible with auto.
