There is no need for any upgraded ignition system for 4G94 engines. If you want to get better wires look into Magnacore wires. RoadRace has them.

You would run into way too many problems before reaching your goal since we don't have a distributor.

If you have old wires that aren't transmitting spark well, then yes.

On a basic N/A Lancer with mods, you won't notice a damn thing. Maybe if you have a highly worked Stage 2 turbo, you can take advantage of better spark, etc.

John Q. Public won't notice a damn thing. Guaranteed.

^^^+1 I have had Magnacore and stock, You can see in my old post that I recomended Magnacore. Well, after having them, I'll never buy them again. You just don't need them, they don't do anything for performance and they are hella expensive. Do a search on the topic, there are plenty of threads where the evom gurus will explain what a waste of money they are, and the irridium plugs, and they're right. If you want new wires, NGK make a nice "upgraded" plug wire that is very affordable and give you the looks of having aftermarket wires. I went to get stock replacement plug wires from Autozone and they were more than the NGK's. But I encourage you to search and read and listen to the people that know their **** and don't look for what you want to hear from the people that don't.
