idle adjustment
#16
just wanted to join to say thank you for this thread. there are 3 or 4 like it on evolutionM, but this is the only 1 with the correct location and a nice picture.
it is the top screw. and i had to turn mine about 6 full turns before any difference was made. mine was screwed way out, and idled between 1400 to 2000 RPMs with a/c off, and 1000 to 1500 with a/c on.
now, it stays between 700 and just under 1000 RPMs regardless of a/c being used or not, car warmed up.
i've also changed my IAC twice, 1 from a junkyard, 1 brand new generic, and 1 original to my car... the 1 (original) i have now jumps RPMs at idle, but only about 200 range. the junkyard IAC does the same range, but idle is 300RPMs higher at all ranges (so 1000/1250 at idle). then the eBay new 1, holy crap. car idles at 4500RPMs. just a garbage part. if you need one, hit your junkyard.
