thats the MAS!!!! Never take it out, I repeat NEVER TAKE IT OUT!!!! That measures the airflow going in and controls the amount of gas mixed in with the oxygen to combust... without it, ull either be running lean as hell and burn out ur engine or rich as hell and flood out ur engine.

Are you serious or was this just a joke? The laughter at the end of the initial post is a bit confusing.

Oh, and unless your car magically grew a MAP sensor it's not going to run well (if at all) without it.

EDIT: Actually it should run, just extremely rich to the point where it may repeatedly stall under certain conditions.

hahah i was serious though!

the reason i asked was; ive seen some ppls intakes with that stainless steel/chrome piping...and i couldnt find that box thing so i was just curious, i dunt knoe much bout engine specs dunt bash me if im alil stupid hahaha

thnx though im glad i asked before ripping it out hahaha
