I think part of why people are so excited about this cam is because it's made by RRM. No offense to RPW, they make excellent parts for the lancer, but they're not easy to deal with. You either have to go through a third party (which is always problematic) or you have to put up with long distance calls, slow return times and potentially high shipping costs. Personally I'd much rather deal with the local shop than someone who's literally half way around the world.

+100,000,000,000,000,000,000 Hit the nail right smack on the head

And RPW's (sorry Rock) being a measly $10 cheaper don't make up for the waiting and aggravation. I know, it took me, no BS, 3 months to get my FPR from them. Part of the problem is they send their stuff through the regular mail.
Good grief

Two things:

1. sorry to pop your bubble but believe it or not im open to my own opinion whether you like it or not

2. the title of the thread is ROAD/RACE - A cam is coming, not "revolt4revolver wants to talk about cams in general"

so as you can PLAINLY see, there is no argument, it IS about one company, and me simply congradulating (spelling?) them on THEIR accomplishment. The only argument that could evolve from my statement is your ignorant responce

Like I said, don't start a comparison thread out of this. I will have to respond to it and I do not want to discuss other vendors in this thread. THANKS

im going to leave it at this

RRM: good work on creating a cam, i cant wait to see some numbers and some first hand results!

handmemyarms: its utterly upsurd to say that my statement was the ignorant one. When we both know there are more than one company making GREAT parts for our cars. Its your closed minded appoach to lancer modding, that leads me to try to open the boards up to objectivity and finding the parts that yield the best results. ill edit some posts and try to clean it up.

thanks.

I don't know if you're an adult or not, but I'm going to say it.

STOP. You don't have to respond to him. I don't want to hear any arguing. This is a nice thread about RRM's cam. Nothing more.
