i would suppose one would need a good tuning to make the most out of it. it should improve alone but tuning is what makes these kind of mods great. a cam would help to.

thats what i was thinking. i just wanted to make sure that what starts out as a $425 mod doesn't turn into a %1000 dollar mod. as long as it helps the car and is safe without anything else i can always maxmize its use later

yeah its perfectly fine alone and I'm sure you get good gains from it, but you can extract the most with other breather mods and a good tune.

To the two now-deleted posts: please don't sh*t in a thread about a specific company by trying to sell your spare parts. There's a place for that.

I emailed A2 Designs and he told me that the twin throttle body setup is not good for a DD because of the acceleration and throttle response. Also, all of the piping is a mess. Dual TB can't do THAT much more over a Single Bored out TB with supporting intake/IM etc. I mean, ya it will add some but that much on a NA engine? Hard to believe. Only so much air can get into the engine on its own, ALTHOUGH, the throttle response probably would be amazing.

Acceleration, what about it? Is it going to try to accelerate like a race horse?
Throttle response, what about it? Too much?

I'd really would like to know in details why twin throttle body isn't good for a daily driver.

By really not for a daily driver, I should of said for traffic, with the throttle being so touchy its hard to just tap the gas to move up a little bit, it just getting use to thats all. But when you punch it, you go no ifs or buts.

I would have though staggered TB's would be more beneficial. As in the second body doesnt open up until throttle reaches X%.

I think that would require tuning. But it would be better for daily driving that way you only get the extreme acceleration when you floor it. But its more complicated so i like it the way it is.

its not anymore. Hmmm, i'll ask him about it. He did say a while back that he'd like to focus more on the turbo kit so he'd stop selling the Twin TBs, maybe he decided to stop selling them for real this time.
