I talked about gassing it and the computer dumping gas for the signal but the air not being there yet, the same would be true if you let off the gas some, the computer stops dumping gas but the volume of air hitting the throttle body is still high causing a lean condition.

When you do this mod you are deleting the stock MAS and you bypass the stock ecu (you need a standalone/emanage). In some cases where you are controlling fuel/igntion you can delete the stock ecu completely.
