wanted to put in a cherry bomb glass pack on my 05 OZ. just dont know what size to get and/or if it'll fit.... any help?

 

Replace the resonator with the glass pack. Its roughly the same thing. I forget what the factory piping diameter is tho.

I love cherry bombs. I used them on my old Corolla Rally Car for a long time. Back in the day they were $13.....

my friend had a cherry bomb muffler on his tiburon. we didn't like it, he did end up getting the wrong part number ordered from the store (so he got the wrong type of muffler), so we don't trash the brand--just the store we ordered from. when all was said and done it gave the car that civic-y rattle, he hated it.

 

This is just my opinion, but I can't stand how a cherry bomb sounds on a 4cylinder. However, I love how they sound on a V-8.

Actually on honda's cherry's sound terrible... But mitsu's they're pretty awesome. I mean, mine sounds awesome... And my buddies WRX sounds amazing.

Plus it's all about hearing:

Bahhhh *shift* baaaahhhh *shift* baaaaaaahhhhhh *shift*. That noise turns my crank every time I drive.

But i guess it's okay to hear...

If it was up to me, I wouldn't even have a muffler / resontator / sound proofing. Just a roll cage, and a couple seats.

 

On a 4AG they are loud but the were cheap and in Rally They wouyld constantly get ripped off the the car so they were cheap to replace.

Srt-4's run around with just resonators, they dont have mufflers. But they get away with that because the turbo really cuts back on the noise. Thats roughly what youd sound like.
