headers, throttle body, or piggyback

hi first let me say that i love your forums. i recently ran across some money and would like to spend it on my car. i have an 03 lancer es with an injen sri and an exhaust, rrm pulley. i am thinking of purchasing one of the above and installing it my self. my question is which i should get first. i know i will be getting all three soon but i will only do one at a time, i am just having a hard time deciding which one i should do first. they all cost about the same and i do plan to go turbo in the next couple of months. thanks for any help provided.

If you are sure you are going turbo, then you should plan things around that. The PB will be useless unless you plan to tune with it with your turbo. But I imagine there are better options for that. Plus the resale value of the piggys tends to be pretty bad ($225-250).

If you get a turbo manifold, the headers will be useless. But they will be pretty easy to sell. And if you get RRM's turbo then you can use them with that.

I have heard that the TB doesn't yield the gains that the headers do. Especially if the IM is not matched. I think you will have something like a 59mm opening going right back down to a 53mm opening once the air hits the IM. (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Just my opinion, I don't see the point in getting something that you will have to flip in a couple of months for a 50% loss.

This has been answered plenty of times. Just think of what you want to accomplish. Also search, this has been covered.
