I'm going to have them make a full stainless cat-back that they may want to market. So I'm thinking 2.5inch with 7inch round muffler. Johnson the owner and I have been talking about diffent options. let me know what happens with this...i'm in burlington so not too far away and would like to hear how it sounds.

i would personally go with 2.25" unless you have a turbo, then go 2.5"...btw, how much $ did he say that a custom catback might run you?? budget in burlington said they could do it for $475 CDN

7 inch muffler as in tail pipe diameter. Are you joking?

Your diameter is bigger than those 11 sec supra TT's.

I am interested in this Catback system too, my current Catback (mufflertech.com) is okay. Let us know what's up with this.

7" canister muffler. Sounds similar to the Buschur. I'm sure you'll like it. Again...2.5" is DYNO PROVEN gains across the powerband. Until someone dynos a 2.25" with bigger gains I'll stand by it...hell I'll stand by it even after that happens.

Hobie right 7" canister with maybe 3.5 or 4" tip also think I may
get resonator, because I'm thinking of installing a header at a later date don't want it to be too loud. Don't want a ricey sound.

Dr. Crash haven't talked price. The price you got from budget is
that stainless?

Hey Andy, how's it going? Thanks for testing the waters.

The muffler that Andy is referring to has a 7" canister and a 4" rolled polished lip.

We use this on our Evo VIII and WRX exhaust systems to help dampen the noise while retaining a straight through design.

The exhausts will most likely be made from T304 Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel, and will all come with our 5-year warranty!

Thanks guys.

Darryl

i've always like the sound of a true straight pipe w/ no cat's or muffler.... but then again thats only on my track car, and its rotary, sweet sweet sound. loud as hell though.

Our test pipes for the Evo VIII have become very popular as they do not trigger check engine lights with our special design.

Again, if the demand is there we can have these available to you guys as well.

Off-Road purposes only mind you

Thanks

Darryl

I'll tell you one thing...if you don't mind a little volume a straight through with a 7" canister sounds extremely good on the Lancer.
